A mailbag recently vanished from Chester. It contained several registered letters, and some people came to a very unpleasant conclusion about it. But the bag returned safe and sound next day. An innocent motorist had found the bag lodged on his back axle. He had driven past the Chester sorting office, whence mails are taken to the station on electric trucks, and there he had unwittingly picked up the bag.
