PATIENT'S SUDDEN END FOUND WITH THROAT CUT. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 31. In circumstances suggesting suicide Peter Brennan, aged 43, a patient m the Wellington Hospital, was; found dead this morning. The deceased, who was a farmer at Ohnra, near Taumarunui, asked the night nurse in the ward to get him a drink, and when she returned she found him dead with a gash in his throat and his razor alongside. Roy Dominey, aged three, died in the hospital this morning as the result of having swallowed some maize, which obstructed his windpipe. A MOTORIST KILLED LORRY CRASHES OVER BANK. (Per United Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, July 31. Roy Hayward, a Normanby carrier, aged about 26, was killed when his motor lorry crashed over a bank seven miles south of Hawera this evening. Hayward leaves a widow and two young children. It is believed that Hayward was dazzled by the lights of a car, the night being wet. The lorry struck a post, Hayward being thrown on to the road. He died within half an hour. It was believed that George Brown, who worked with Hayward, was a passenger in the lorry. The police made a fruitless search of the steep hillside, but subsequently .learned that Brown had left the lorry a femiles down the road. '
