CLAIM FOR DAMAGES
LOSS OF ALSATIAN DOG. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 31. The hearing of the case in which E. R. Leighton claimed £25 damages from Thomas Charles Webb, veterinary advi&r to the Tail Waggers' Club of New Zealand (inc.) and the club itself, was concluded at the Magistrate's Court today, the magistrate (Mr E. Page) reserving his decision. The plaintiff alleged that Webb had so unskilfully treated his Alsatian dog, which was suffering from an injured hip, that it had to be destroyed.
