INFLUENZA OR COLD WILL BREAK RIGHT UP No Evidence of Distress in a few Hours Bayer gave Aspirin to the people of the world. In 1900, Bayer gave Aspirin its name and introduced Aspirin to the medical profession as a remedy for colds and influenza. At the first sign of influenza or a cold, begin taking one genuine Bayer Aspirin tablet every two hours with half a glass of water. After the first dose all the headache, stuffiness and distress end, and after the second or third dose the cold and fever are usually broken entirely. Be sure you obtain only the genuine Bayer Aspirin, which does not affect the heart, derange the digestion, or form a habit. If you have been using imitations of the original Aspirin, note the effect of Bayer Aspirin on your cold after the very first dose. All chemists sell boxes containing 12 Bayer Tablets, also bottles of 24 and 100 tablets—the Bayer Cross tra.de mark appears on every tablet. Bayer Aspirin costs no more than the uncertain imitations and loudly advertised substitutes, which physicians - would not think of prescribing. Say Bayer and insist!
Artificial sunshine and a better knowledge of feeding are cited as two of the principal reasons for a lower death rate among the animals at the London Zoo.
