OBITUARY
CAPTAIN E. R. V. PETRIE (Pkb United Press association.) WELLINGTON, July 5. The death of Captain Edward R. V. Petrie, N.Z.S.C., adjutant of the Ist Battalion, Waikato Regiment, and area officer at Hamilton, occurred to-day in the Wellington Hospital. Captain Petrie was 38 years of l age and served from 1914 to 1917, when he received injuries which eventually load to his death. • He saw service in Egypt, Gallipoli. France and Belgium.
