THE NEW ZEALAND EMBARGO PARTIAL LIFTING PROBABLE. CANBERRA, July 5. Senator M’Lachlan, in a statement, said: “Some hope exists that the New Zealand embargo on Australian citrus fruits will be lifted.” He added: “When the New Zealand negotiations with America are concluded it is possible that we may be able to arrange for a partial lifting of the embargo. The Federal Government is now considering negotiating for trade with other countries.”
