A terrific downpour and a flash of lightning, followed by a full of rock, closed the month of the cave and huiied them alive. The news was brought down by hmmen, who made no attempt at rescue, presumably fearing to interfere with an act of God. Meantime, there was a further landslide, and it is feared that it would be hopeless to attempt to rescue the imprisoned people.
