When a scheme for the modernisation of Alexandra Palace, in North London, was discussed at a meeting recently, a resolution approving;" in principle, a £200,000 scheme was passed. If the scheme is finally approved by the councils concerned, renewed efforts will be made to secure a contribution from the Government, whose withdrawal of a promised contribution brought the original scheme to a standstill.
