NEW LOAN FOR AUSTRIA
QUESTION IN PARLIAMENT

RUGBY, June 29.
Asked in the House of Commons whether in the recent conversations with the Austrian Chancellor the question of making or guaranteeing a new loan was discussed, Sir John Simon (Foreign Secretary) syud that reference was made to the loan provided for in the protocol of July, 1932, and the Austrian Loan Guarantee Act, which it was hoped would be issued at an early date in London and Paris and the other capitals concerned.
