REPEAL FAVOURED
THE EIGHTEENTH AMENDMENT VOTING IN AMERICAN STATES. WASHINGTON, June 28. Sixteen States have now voted to strike the Eighteenth Amendment from the United States Constitution—viz., West Virginia, California, New York, New Hampshire, Indiana, Connecticut, lowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Rhode Island, Wyoming, New Jersey, Delaware, Nevada, Illinois, and Massachusetts. The repealists must win 20 more States.
