THE WEATHER
There was a decided improvement in the weather yesterday, the sun shining for the greater part of the day. A light south-east breeze was blowing, and the maximum temperature was aodeg. lue barometer showed little movement, and registered 30 last evening. REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, June, 29. The weather was fine and sunny -in the morning, clouding at mid-day and later clearing again. There was a light westerly wind. The barometer was steady at the high reading of 30.20 in. WELLINGTON, June 29. The weather to-day was fine, with sunshine and passing clouds. There was a fresh* northerly breeze. CHRISTCHURCH. June 29. The sun shone until mid-afternoon, when the skv clouded over. The barometer rose from 29.89 in to 29.98 in. There was a light wind from the E.N.E., changing to S.W. in the evening.
