TRANSPORT WORKERS
DOMINION AWARD FILED (Pub United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 24. The New Zealand passenger transport award was filed in the Arbitration Court to-day, embodying the recommendation of the Conciliation Council which sat at Wellington on March 23. The award operates for a year from July 3. A claim by the union for an additional penny an hour for drivers employed in. publicly-owned services was refused by a majority decision, the workers’- representative recording his dissent.
