THE WEATHER
Fine, sunny weather was experienced in Dunedin on Saturday morning, • but the sky was overcast in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 45 degrees. The barometer \yas steady at 30.30 all day. Yesterday the sky was heavily overcast, and misty showers fell occasionally'. The maximum temperature was 48 degrees and the barometer fell steadily all day.
REPORTS. FROM NORTHERN , ‘CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, June 25. A light south-west breeze and cloudy and threatening weather on Saturday was followed by a freshening north-east wind and continuous rain to-day. The barometer, which has been falling since midnight on Friday, registered 29.25 in at 5 p.m. to-day. WELLINGTON, June 25. The weather on Saturday was fair and sunny, with a light southerly breeze. The night was fine, but a breeze blew up and rain fell early this morning. The day was overcast with occasional showers. A drizzling rain fell this evening.
CHRISTCHURCH, June 25. Saturday was fine, but to-day was dull and showery with a liglft wind from the north-east. The barometer registered 29.75 at 5 p.m. and was falling.
