TREATMENT OF BRITAIN GOOD IMPRESSION MADE. WASHINGTON* June 15. ' The Secretary of State, Mr Cordell Hull, cabled to President Roosevelt from London his opinion that the liesident s concessions in connection with the British move for a reduction of war debts will profoundly improve the chances of a successful issue to the World Economic Conference. Roosevelt partisans regard the President’s handling of the debt situation as masterly. It now becomes the debtor rations’ move in the Economic Conference. If they fail* to perform satisfactorily, Mr Roosevelt can “ throw a monkey wrench ” into debt revision.
