The Klni, which arrived at Dunedin on Saturday night from Westport, via ports, will discharge and load general cargo to-day. She is to sail to-night direct for Westport. The Waimarlno sailed on Saturday for Oamaru, Tlmaru, Lyttelton and Pictou to complete loading for Wellington and Auckland. The Gale sailed on Saturday evening for Tlmaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington and Wanganui. The Union Company’s steamer Karetu, which arrived at Auckland on June 20 from Suva, brought 7000 cases of fruit. The Karetu left Auckland on Thursday for Newcastle and Sydney to load again for Fiji and Auckland. The tanker O. A. Knudsen left San Pedro on June 20 for Wellington, where she Is due about July 15. The Shell Oil Company’s chartered tanker Sir Karl Knudsen arrived at Wellington on Saturday from Singapore. She will later discharge at Lyttelton, Tlmaru and Auckland. The P. and O.- liner Comorin arrived at Fremantle on June 20 from London. She is due at Sydney on June 29. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Wellington was to leave Port Kembla on Friday for Auckland to commence loading In New Zealand. The vessel’s loading ports are Auckland, Gisborne, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is scheduled to clear Wellington for London, via Las Palmas, on July 13. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. adylse that the Canadian Challenger Is due at Dunedin on July 4 from Montreal, via northern ports, to discharge Canadian cargo and load products. She will complete loading at Bluff, and will sail finally from that port about July 6 for New York, Boston and Montreal. BALDINA WITH PHOSPHATES. Messrs H. L. -Tapley and Co. advise that the steamer Baldlna left Nauru Island on Juno 10 with phosphates for discharge at Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Ravensbourne. She Is due at Lyttelton to-morrow and at this port about Friday. WAIRUNA’S ITINERARY. \The Union Company’s steamer Wairuna, which is undergoing overhaul and survey at Auckland preparatory to being recommissioned In the transpacific cargo service, l£ scheduled to load at Pacific coast ports during September and October for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. , THE CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR. The Canadian Constructor Is due at Wellington at the end of July from Montreal, via Australia, to discharge Canadian cargo and load products. The vessel Is expected at Dunedin on August 4 to continue discharging and loading. She will load at other Dominion ports for. New York, Boston and Montreal. 1 \

SOMERSET AT GLASGOW. The Federal Line steamer Somerset, which was despatched from Wellington for London, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow on April 10, is reported to have reached Glasgow on June 17. s CARGO FROM CANADA. The Canadian Highlander is scheduled to leave Montreal on Jtme 29 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about August 8. SURREY FROM LIVERPOOL. The Federal Line steamer Surrey arrived at Dunedin on Saturday afternoon from Glasgow and Liverpool, via Colon, Panama, Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She was berthed at the Victoria wharf, where the local portion of her Home cargo will be discharged. The Surrey is to sail to-morrow for New Plymouth to complete discharge and commence Homeward loading. She will also load at Picton, Oamaru, Port Chalmers, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Surrey Is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on July 21 for London, where she is due on August 30. PASSENGERS BY THE TAMAROA. Carter recently obtained his master’s certificate at Sydney, and lias rejoined the Kalingo as third officer, relieving Mr C. Strong, who has temporarily transferred to the Koranui. Mr L. P. Bourko has joined the R.M.fe. Niagara as junior third officer, vice Mr D. A. Monlove, who has been engaged as senior third officer, relieving Mr J. Billlngham for holidays. Mr R. N. Turner has rejoined the Niagara as second officer, vice Mr D. J. M'Kenzlc, who is coming to Dunedin for holidays. Mr A. S. Forgusson has joined the Kakarikl as third officer at Melbourne, relieving Mr R. Kendall for holidays. Mr W. J.
