WHEAT TO “FREE MILLS”
TO THE El)ITOI!. Sir,' —As one of the public I gather that the “ free ” mill has adopted Distributor’s price list. Tt admits its aim is to displace imported flour. The baker decides the latter point, so that it is obvious that this can be done only to the extent to which the free mill uses _ imported wheat. From to-day’s letter it is apparently at perfect liberty to do this. I suggest that the correspondence be closed on this note or continued at advertising rates. —1 am, etc., Observer.
