DAWSON-CABALLERO SEASON

FINAL CONCERT. TO-NIGHT. For tboir final concert at: the Town Hall this evening Mr Peter Dawson, the world-famous baritone, and Mr TapjaCaballcro, the brilliant young pianist, who is accompanying him on his world tour, have chosen a programme that will appeal to all musical tastes. The enthusiasm with which the earlier concerts were received is evidence .of the remarkable personalities and musical pre-emin-ence of the artists, who have established themselves very firmly already in the hearts of Dunedin music lovers. In the programme this evening Mr Peter Dawson will sing: “Ah, Shall Not This Great Day of Wrath” (Bach), “Thou Most Blest, All-quickening Day” (Bacii), “Die Mainacht ” (Brahms), “Le Manoir do Rosernoude ” (Duparc), “ The Clock” (Loewe), “The Erl King” (Schubert), “Money, 0!” (Michael Head), “The Recruit” (Robert Ainsworth). Tapia-Caballero will play: Sonata, Op. 31, No. 3 (Beethoven), Three Etudes (Chopin), Mazurka in A minor (Chopin), .Gavotte (Prokofieff), Scherzo in B minor (Chopin), March (Prokofieff), Clair de June (Moonlight) (Debussy), “TLslc Joyeusc” (“The Isle of Happiness"; Debussy).
