WINOOKA IN AMERICA
(United Press Association.) i By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, June 22. (Received June 23, at 7.30 p.m. ) A San Francisco message states that Winooka, after a short rest, will begin training, and will then be sent east about August 1. It is hoped to arrange for him races with the well-known thoroughbreds Equipoise and Gallant Sir. The •horse is in excellent condition after the long voyage, and is adapting himself to American climatic conditions. Kay Spence, who was at one time trainer for the Audley Stock Farm, has been placed in charge of Winooka’s American campaign.
