The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal Line steamer Surrey is due at Dunedin to-morrow afternoon from Liverpool, via northern ports. The vessel has a quantity of Home cargo for discharge.

TURAKINA FROM LONDON, The Turaklna, on route from London to Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Lyttelton at noon on Sunday. MAUNGANUI FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The Union Company advises that the H.M.S. Maunganul, on route from San Francisco, left Papeete at 4 p.m. on June 17 and Rarotonga on June 20, for Wellington and Sydney. She Is duo at Wellington on Monday morning. MAKURA LEAVES PAPEETE. The Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Makura, from Sydney and Wellington, left Rarotonga at, 1 a.m. on Sunday last, and Papeete on Tuesday for San Francisco, where she Is due on June 30. LUNBY CLEARED COLON. The Danish motor ship Lunby Is reported to have cleared Colon on June 14, en route from Liverpool, Nova Scotia, to New Zealand. KARAMEA IN BALLAST. The Karamea left London on June 17 In ballast for New Zealand ports, via Panama canal. She is due at Port Chalmers on July 20. ASHBURTON LEAVES, TAMPICO. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the A. and A. Line chartered motor ship Ashburton, en route from New York, left Galveston on May 31 and Tampico on June 10 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. She Is due at Auckland on July 8. ZEALANDIA LEAVES LIVERPOOL. The Zealandla left Liverpool on Juno 17 with cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. She 1s due at Auckland about July 27. The vessel Is to load at Capetown, en route to New Zealand, about July 6, and after completion of discharge In the Dominion will proceed to Australia for Homeward loading. PERSONAL ITEMS. ■ Mr M. A. M'Cormack lias been engaged as second mate on the Calm, relieving Mr C. T. Copping. „ ■ . Captain Mead has resumed command of the Holmglen. BALDINA WITH PHOSPHATES. Advice received by Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. states that the steamer Baldlna Is due at this port about June 30 from Nauru or Ocean Islands with phosphates. The vessel Is expected to arrive at Lyttelton about Juno 27. PERSONAL ITEM. Captain C. Matthews Is In command of the Federal steamer Surrey, which arrived at Wellington on Sunday night from Liverpool, via Auckland. LONG NON-STOP VOYAGE. After an uneventful voyage the C. and D. steamer Port Victor arrived at New Plymouth on June 18 from Hull. The vessel left England on May 2 for New Zealand, via the Cape of Good Hope, and until the Cape was reached good weather was experienced. After a week of rough seas, however, good conditions wore again met with, states the Taranaki News. The Port Victor sailed direct. New Plymouth being the first port of call since the vessel left Hull, so that for 47 days the vessel was at sea. As there was no outward cargo available she came in ballast. Approximately 10 days will be spent In loading at New Plymouth, Auckland, and Wellington before the Port Victor sails again on her non-stop run'to England. She Is to take 50,000 boxes of butter and 11,600 crates of cheese from New Zealand.

HOMEWARD LOADING MOVEMENTS. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line advises that the Port Hobart Is due at Nelson on July 24 from Australia to commence Homeward loading. She will complete at Oamaru, Tlmaru, Port Chalmers, Bluff, Lyttelton, and Wellington, sailing on August 12 for London and west coast ports of the United Kingdom, via Cape Horn and Dakar. The Port Dunedin will commence loading at Port Chalmers on July 28. She will complete at Tlmaru, Wellington, New Plymouth, Auckland and Napier, sailing on August 10 for London, via Cape Horn and Dakar. The Shaw, Savlll and Albion Company advises that the Karamea Is to commence loading at Port Chalmers on July 20. She will complete at Bluff, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland, sailing on August 8 for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. The Tainul Is to commence loading at Tlmaru about August 5. She will complete at Lyttelton. Wellington and Auckland, sailing on August 23 for Southampton and London, via Panama canal and Kingston.
