RECONSTRUCTION SCHEMES development of private ENTERPRISE. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 22. By a unanimous decision at a largelyattended meeting held by the Dominion Farmers’ Institute to-night, it was decided to support the National Reconstruction Association, which has been formed to attack unemployment by seeking a plan of development of private enterprise. A provisional committee was appointed to co-operate with the Auckland section in an organised effort to coordinate all the practical schemes toward the reconstruction of business and the restoration of prosperity in New Zealand.
The meeting, which was representative of practically every section of the community, was presided over by Mr R. Buckloton. The main speaker was Mr J. M'Millan, who said that the association had no philanthropic motive, ft was a national business effort at restoration through the development and reorganisation of business.
