MORNINGTON PRESBYTERIANS
The monthly meeting of the Mornington Presbyterian Church Parents' League held on Tuesday last was largely attended, and wag presided over by the president (Mr G. H Smith). In the absence of the Rev, A. Watson, Mr H. Booth opened the proceedings with prayer. The event of the evening was a lecture by Mr W. R. Brugh on his u Travels Abroad.” In the short time at his disposal for so comprehensive a subject the speaker gave an exceedingly educative and humorous talk which was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. Items were contributed by the church choir, male quartet, Mr Pelham (recitation), Mr D. Cralgie, and Mrs J. A. .Wallace. On the motion of Air O. A. Turner a very hearty vote of thanks was accorded Air Brugh and the performers. The Rev. A. Watson closed the meeting with prayer.
