father of imprisoned ENGINEER LONDON, June 21. (Received June 21, at 7 p.m.) The death is announced of Mr Charles Thornton, father of the Vickers engineer imprisoned in Moscow. A member of the family said that Mr Thornton never recovered from the shock of his son’s arrest. He collapsed during thq trial in Moscow, and died of grief,
