POWER BOARD NOTICES. QTAGO ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. NOTICE OF RATING. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Above Board, in pursuance of Section 56 of the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, intends, at a SPECIAL MEETING, to be held on 6th JULY, 1933. to MAKE and LEVY the following RATES for the period from Ist April, 1933, to March, 1934, PAYABLE IN ONE 31st SUM, on the same dates as the Tates of the respective Local Authorities in whic\ district the properties are situated. The Valuation Roll is open for inspection at the Office of the Local Authority in which district the property is situated. It is the intention of tne_ Board to ask the respective Local Authorities to collect the Rates for the district on behalf of the Board. The Rates proposed are:— 1. General Rate of l-20th pence in the f on the Capital Value of all properties included in the Otago, Lawrence, Owaka, Maniototo-Strath Taieri areas, as defined by Proclamations, less rebate of 50 per cent, in respect of properties not within 10 chains of electric supply. 2. (a) Separate Rate of .6_ (six-tenths) pence in £ on the Capital Value of all properties included in the NORTHERN AREA from Port Chalmers to Dunback, as defined by Proclamation dated 18th -October, 1923. ■ . fb) Separate Rate of .65 (sixtyfive hundredths) pence in £ on the Capital Value of all properties included in the SOUTHERN AREA from Berwick to Romahapa, as defined by Proclamation dated 18th October, 1923.
