ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FATALLY SCALDED CHILD FALLS INTO HOT (Peb United Press Association. • • ROTORUA, June 20. While playing in the vicinity of a group of hot pools at Ngapuna pa this afternoon, a three-year-old child, Richard Skipworth, fell into one of the pools. The accident was not observed, and the child was dead when taken from the water. MEDICAL MAN INJURED (Per United Press association i WELLINGTON, June 20. A collision between a motor cycle and sidecar and a light motor lorry occurred on the Hutt road at Kaiwarra shortly before 9 o’clock this morning. The motor cycle afterwards crashed into a signpost where several men were standing, including Dr T. G. Gray, of the Mental Hospitals Department, who was struck and received bruises. All the others concerned escaped injury, HEAD INJURIES Suffering from head injuries received when he fell from a tram at the Queen’s drive stopping place on Monday night, an elderly man named George Myers, who resides with his son-in-law at 10 Queen’s drive, Musselburgh, was admitted to the Hospital early yesterday morning. At the time of his fall it was not thought that he had been injured, and he was taken home, but later in the night his condition became worse, and it was decided to remove him to the Hospital,
