AUSTRALIAN CRUISERS
AUCKLAND TO BE VISITED EXERCISES WITH NEW ZEALAND SQUADRON. MELBOURNE, June 20. (Received June 20, at 10.15 p.m.) The Australian cruisers Canberra and Australia will begin a cruise on July 21, taking in Hervey Bay, Queensland, where exercises will be carried out. The pair will separate on August 14 for a visit to Norfolk Island and Lord Howe Island. Thence they will proceed to Auckland and Hauraki Gulf, where they are due on August 26 to engage in exercises with the New Zealand squadron.
