NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at Special Meeting of the Maniototo ounty Council held in the County Cham;rs, Naseby, on Wednesday, the 24th Ay, 1933, the following Resolution was issed and $ will be submitted for -Conrmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the ouneil to be held in the County Chamjrs, Naneby, on WEDNESDAY, the ifth day of July, 1933, at 11 a.m. In pursuance of the powers vested in by “The Counties Act,_ 1920,” and all sending Acts to the said Act respecvely and by virtue of every and any ;her Act, power or authority enabling in this behalf the Council of the County i Maniototo doth hereby by Special rder make and ordain the fallowing Byw to be in force throughout the said ounty:— The object and purport of the said y-law is as follows: ■ A. To repeal clauses 229 to 239 both inclusive of the Otago Counties Joint By-law 1927 and to substi- | tute new clauses therefor. B To provide for the licensing of pedlars and hawkers, and far the registration of such licenses, and defining to what persons the By-laws under this paragraph shall apply; and fixing the sums payable to the County fund for licenses. C. To prohibit any persons from trading as pedlars or hawkers, not being so licensed. / D. Regulating the conduct and providing against the misconduct of such licensed persons. E. To provide penalties for any breaches of the By-law. !
