MANAGER STRANGLED
LARGE SUM STOLEN FROM. BANK JAPANESE POLICEMAN'S CRIME. TOKIO, June 18. Before daylight a uniformed policeman, pretending that he suspected burglars, persuaded the manager of the Yasuda Bank at Kayuma to investigate the strong room and strangled him. He left the corpse inside and decamped with a large sum of money. -The victim’s wife later identified the culprit, who was arrested.
