I.R.A. VOLUNTEERS

FORBIDDEN TO JOIN COMMUNISTS

LONDON, June 17. (Received June 18, at 6.35 p.m.) The newspaper An Ephoblacht announces a definite order forbidding LR.A. volunteers to join the Communists aul other.political organisations, and adds: "The LR.A. was never connected with Communists. Its policy is determined independently of outside bodies. Communism is associated with atheism. Therefore it must fail irrespective of whatever virtues its economic theories possess. While the LR.A. believes that the present un-Christian economic and social order must be supplanted, it has no intention of violating Christian moral and ethical principles."
