(Received June 18, at 6.35 p.m.) Herr Gambos, the Hungarian Prime Minister, flew to Berlin and talked at length with Herr Hitler on economic and other German-Hungarian questions. SUBSTANCE OF CONVERSATION. BUDAPEST, June 17. (Received June 18, at 6.35 p.m.) The visit of Herr Gambos was unexpected, leading to the belief that AnstroGerman relations were discussed, especially with a view to the recent speech of Herr Gambos opposing an AustroHungarian union as a counterpart to the Anstro-German anschluss formerly proposed.
