LINE UMPIRE ASSISTS PLAYER., REFEREE STOPS PLAY: It happened during a recent senior Rugby game. Play had only been going a few minutes when one player walked to the side line, spoke to the line umpire who produced a small bottle. After taking a nip, the player returned to the game with seemingly renewed vigour. It happened again and then again. The referee became annoyed, and stopped the game. He asked the line umpire to produce the bottle.
