SOUTHLAND MARKETS (From Our Own Correspondent.) INVERCARGILL,June 17. Oats.-r There has been a cessation. of orders from the north to some, extent during the last fortnight. Any business which has been brought about recently is on the basis of 2e 7d 27-281 b machine-dressed seed; 2s 9d 301 b seed and over, though this latter price ha a been slightly exceeded", for something of exceptional value. Crested Dogstail.—There has been a slight easing also in this market, and values between merchants range from 6d per lb, f.0.b., for seed of good ordinary merchantable quality up to 6£d for high quality exportable machine-dressed seed.
