A WELLINGTON ESTATE CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH BENEFITS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 16. Public boriucsts ultimately involving about £20,000 are made under the will of the late Mr Frank Meadowcroft, who was, for 10 years a member of the Wellington City Council. After making provision for members of the family, the will provides that, subject to a certain life interest, onetenth of the residue of the estate shall be held in perpetual trust, the income to be paid as follows: —Three parts to the Terrace Congregational Church, Wellington, for general purposes, provided at least one-third of the income shall be used for the benefit of the Sunday school of the church; two parts to the Pastors Provident Fund of the Congregational Union of New Zealand; two parts to the London Missionary Society for general purposes; two parts to the Wellington district of the Congregational Union of New Zealand for home mission work in New Zealand, one part to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Subject to further life interests the other nine-tenths of the residue arc to be held in trust, the income to be paid for all time to the London Missionary Society for general purposes, the bequest to be known as the Meadowcroft bequest. The residue, subject to the bequests concerned, will probably be in the vicinity of £20,000. The Public Trustee is the executor.
