MARY PRATT CONCERT

The box plan for the concert tendered to Miss Mary Pratt, which is to be presented next Wednesday, will open to-day. Although the date of the concert is yet some days away the demand for tickets has been enormous, and the booking is bound to be heavy. Intending patrons are therefore advised to book early. If sales to date are any guide the Town Hall should be filled to capacity, although this is not remarkable in view of the nature of the programme to be presented. Organ, orchestral, and choral items, together with solo, instrumental, and vocal numbers, will be presented. Wellington and Christchurch and other New Zealand centres have acclaimed Miss Pratt in the most glowing terms, and it is apparent that Dunedin people are going to see that she receives a fitting compliment from her home town where she has done so much towards musical entertainment in tlie past. Miss Pratt’s charm of personality as well as her accomplishments have so endeared her to Dunedin people that public interest in her concert is outstanding, and with the programme that has been arranged there is no reason why anyone should be disappointed unless it be through being unable to obtain admission.
