(From Our Own Correspondent.) LAWRENCE, June 15. TUAPE K A HO RTI CULT URAL SOCIETY. The annual meeting of the Tuapeka Horticultural Society was held Inst night. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted. The balance sheet disclosed that receipts were £75 Os 9d and expenses £72 14s Od, and the net credit balance, with cash in the bank was £4 15s 2d. The officers elected for the ensuing year were as follows: —President. Mr J. H. Johnston; secretary and treasurer, Miss I. Ferguson. The old committee was re-elected.
