FRENCH WAR SLOOP

DEPARTURE POSTPONED. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 12. Owing to the illness of two of her officers the French sloop Savorgnan de Brazza has had her departure postponed from to-day until 7 to-morrow morning. The second in 'command, Lieutenant Lavale, was taken to hospital to-day, and it-is likely that he will not sail with the ship. Commander Rosati to-day thanked the authorities and the public for their hospitality dicing the ship s two splendid weeks in Auckland.
