CONTRACT BRIDGE

DRASTIC NEW RULE ' PENALTY FOR DELAYED BIDS. LONDON, May 31. Owing to players’ dilatoriness in bidding—an Austrian took 15 minutes to decide—the director of the International Contract Bridge match at Grosvenor House was forced to make a new rule.
