The weather was fine to-day, but the course was drenched by overnight rain. Results: — SECOND HURDLES.—Kengo, 9.7 (Fielder), 1; Yarrawin, 9.8 (Pearce), 2; Spider King, 10.6 (Tallyman), 3. ( Five horses started. Wpn by a length and a-half, with four lengths between second and third. Specimen was fourth. Time, 3rain 49^sec. FLYING HANDICAP—True Sign, 6.8 (Payne). 1; Bonnie Valerie, 6.7 (Parr), 2; Dunere, 9.6 (Hayes), 3. Twelve horses started. Won by two lengths, with a head*between second and third. Time, Imin 15Jsec.

Ten horses started. Won by two lengths, with 10 lengths between second and third. Time, 3min 39Jeec. WILLIAMSTOWN STEEPLECHASE. —Flavedo, 9.12 (JPlnnes), 1; Prime Seal, 9.7 (Yynes), 2; Lanour, 9.0 (Reardon), 3. Won by two lengths and a-half, with the same distance between second and third. Time, Smin 40Jsec. POINT COOK HANDICAP—Shadow King, 9.4 (Wilson), 1; Ormulu, 7.4 (Badger), 2; Thrown, 7.10 (Cann), 3. Ten horses started.
