WEEK-END RALLY A successful rally was held during the week-end by the pupils and .pilots of the Otago Aero Club, the presence of three aeroplanes from Invercargill, including the Southland Aero Club's Fox Moth, assisting in no small degree in making the proceedings successful. LANDING COMPETITION.' The following are the individual placings for the landing competition:— Pilot A. N. Jones (184 points) .... 1 Pilot D. Campbell (182 points) .... 2 Pilot I. Wallace 132, J. Davey 132, T. Martin 124, V. Dale 121, J. H. Stevenson 106, W. Smith 80, J. C. Tait 82, C. Sellars 53. Flight Aggregate.—A Flight, 783 points; B Flight, 717 points; C Flight, 646 points. BANKING COMPETITION. Pilot J. 11. Stevenson (166 points) .. 1 Pilot J. Dovey (154 points) 2 Pilot R. Tait 81., Flight Aggregates.— A Flight, , 683 points; B Flight, 741 points; C Flight, 576 points. - So far. A Flight is leading in aggregate points, but the final result depends on the reconnaissance test, which has been flown lay competitors, whose written reports have yet to be examined. The results should be known by Friday next. COMPETITORS ENTERTAINED. On Saturday evening the flying members of the club and visiting pilots were entertained at a cabaret party at the Gardens Kiosk. Despite the inclement weather there was a good attendance, and the greater part of the evening was spent in dancing, although a mock trial held after supper created ment.
