TO RID AMERICA OF BOMBERS
PLEDGE BY SONS OF ITALY. Through their supreme council, the 300,000 members of the Patriotic Order, Sons of Italy, in America and Canada have pedged themselves to “ rid America of the plague of bomb terrorists,’' it was announced at Philadelphia recently as in* vestigation went forward in the bombing of the home of John di Silveatro, Supreme Venerable of the lodge, and the killing of his wife, “ This means war,” said Mr C. James Todaro, assistant federal attorney, and a close friend of Mr di Silvestro. "There will be no backing down. Our entire membership and our entire resources are pledged.” Meanwhile an anonymous informant promised clues to the di Silvestro bombing if the Sons of Italy doubled their reward of £3OOO.
