The C. and D. Line steamer Port Hunter Is to leave London on August 9 for Wellington, Auckland, and New Plymouth. After discharging a large quantity of Home cargo, the Maimoa will proceed to Lyttelton, Tlmaru, and New Plymouth to complete discharge. - NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER. The Royal Mall liner Niagara is due at Auckland on Monday from Vancouver, Honolulu and Suva. She is scheduled to resume her voyage to Sydney on Tuesday evening. SURREY A FROM LIVERPOOL. The Surrey, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, and New Plymouth, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Auckland on June 13.

TURAKINA LEAVES PANAMA. The Turaklna, en route from London to Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff, left Panama on June 4. She is due at Lyttelton about June 27. . ~ ■ RADIO FROM FORT PIRIB. HUNTINGDON LEAVES LAS PALMAS. The Huntingdon, which left Bluff on April 28, sailed from Las Palmas on June 5 In continuation of her voyage to London. AT HOOK OP HOLLAND. The Maiiana. which left Wanganui roadstead on April 24 for London, arrived at Hook of Holland on Juno 6. COPTIC AT GISBORNE. ? A Gisborne' Press Association message states that the motor ship Coptic arrived at the Poverty Bay port yesterday from London, via Panama, after a passage of 33 days.' The voyage was uneventful. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. advise that the Canadian National steamer Canadian Challenger is due at Auckland about June 21 from Montreal. She will proceed to Napier, Wellington, and Wanganui, and it there Is sufficient Inducement the vessel will call at Dunedin about June 28 before calling at Lyttelton and Oamaru. The Canadian Challenger will sail finally from Lyttelton about July 3 for New York, Boston, and Montreal. TRANSHIPMENT CARGO. Messrs Neill and Co. advise that transhipment cargo landed from the Wanganella at Wellington from Sydney, and (also transhipments ex the Melbourne Maru from Japan, will reach Dunedin to-day the Wingatui. LYTTELTON HARBOUR. Two notable indications of the capacity of Lyttelton Harbour for the efficient handling of shipping were given last month, according to a statement made by the chairman of the Harbour Board (Mr W. T. Lester) in a report to the board on Wednesday.
