DUNEDIN HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

The monthly meeting of the Dunedin Horticultural Society was presided over by Mr G. A. Skene. The secretary, Otago A. and P, Society, wrote offering the Brydone Hall for the society’s show, and it was resolved to refer the letter to the annual meeting. Several members spoke in regard to the large amount paid in prize money, and it was suggested that some alteration might be made in regard to entry fees. Considerable discussion took place upon a suggested new method of the allocation of prize money, and it was decided to bring the matter up for consideration at the annual meeting.
