DUNEDIN FANCIERS’ CLUB

. SECOND DAY OF SHOW EXCELLENT DISPLAY OF DOGS The second day of the Dunedin Fanciers’ Club’s annual show, which ig being held in Brydone Hall, was occupied principally in the judging _ of the dogs, the various classes of which attracted large entries. All the more popular breeds were.well represented, and the judge (Mr D. T. Sinclair) was kept busily engaged throughout the whole of the day in making his awards, his task being made doubly difficult by the uniformly high quality of the entries in all classes. _ One of the outstanding features of this section of the show was the remarkably high standard maintained in the cocker spaniel class, every dog entered being a fine specimen of the breed. In fact, it was stated to be one of the finest cocker spaniel classes ever shown in Dunedin. The cats and children’s pets were also judged yesterday, and although these were small classes compared with the dogs, the quality of the entries was satisfyingly high.' .
