THE WEATHER
The weather was flue and sunny in Dunedin yesterday following a cold, clear night and five degrees of frost. There was no wind, and the conditions were very cold in the shade. The thermometer registered 4o degrees at midday. The barometer was fairly steady all day, and registered SO.SOin last evening. REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, June 9. There was a continuation of fine, clear southerly weather to-day, the conditions being very cold in the shade. The barometer is steady at 30.1 oin. WELLINGTON, June 9. The weather in Wellington to-day was overcast but warmer, a light southerly breeze prevailing. Thp sky cleared in the afternoon, and the evening was cloudless ami misty. CHRISTCHURCH, June 9. To-day was cloudless, but there was a nip in the light nor’-easter blowing. The maximum temperature was 47 degrees. The bafometer fell 8 point to 30.24 in.
