RIFLE SHOOTING
RETURNED SOLDIERS’ CLUB. A muster of 18 members of the Returned Soldiers’ Rifle Club attended the Drill Hall range on Monday, and a good night’s practice was indulged in. The shooting was better, and proved that members were becoming accustomed to the new sights. The best scores were as follows: —D. Maw 79, W. Meikle 79, W. Goudie 78, J. Judson 76, O. Holden 73, J. M‘Kee 75, T. Menzies 75, F. Harvey 75, G. Harvey 74, G, Ferens 75, D. H. Rountree 75, D. M‘Kay 70, H. White 75. RAILWAY v. BARNETT’S, On Thursday, in the A Grade competition, Railway shot against Arthur Barnett’s,, the latter winning by 20 points. The scores were ns follows: Arthur Barnett’s.—R. Graham i?, Pullen 78, Gamble 78, Wood 78, Wylhe 76, Gallon 76, Tracey 75, M’Carthy 73; total, 613. ,■ ... Railway.—Medhurst 78, Hill 77, Milne 75, Andrews 75, Johnstone 75, Thompson 74, Tourelle 70, Gillespie 69; —total, 593. The weekly shoot for the handicap badge resulted as follows: —R.
