Two rows of small tombstones at Broad Green, Liverpool, mark the burial ground of about 400 pets, includiuc a canary and a monkey. Some of the graves are mere grassy mounds, others have costly tablets. One tablet which commemorates a nine-year-old Airedale cost £l6 10s.
