ATTEMPTED EXPORT ALLEGED i, SEQUEL TO POLICE SEARCH. (Peb United Press Association.* WELLINGTON, June 9. . Four members of the crew of the Wanganella were charged' before Mr E. Page, S.M., to-day, with attempting to export silver in excess of £2. The names and amounts they are alleged to have attempted to take are; James Freeston (steward), £252 11s; James Boyne (seaman), £2O; Henry Morgan (hairdresser), £200; Douglas Jack Strath (fourth officer), £62 12s 6d. The Crown Prosecutor asked for a remand, and this was granted. Bail was fixed at £SO in the case of each accused, with one surety. i
