Passengers flying westward across America can occasionally sce_ three "sunrises” and “sunsets” within an hour. The illusion happens in mountainous Nevada, where the aeroplanes fly over three hirdi ranges. As the machine rises to pass over each ridge, the sun gives the appearance of rising. As the machine dips down, the illusion of a sunset is given. The best Coal procurable—Kaitangata has been further reduced in price.—Advt.
