The Wanganella, which arrived at Wellington on Tuesday morning, from Sydney, had included in her cargo transhipments from the following vessels: —Eridau. Baradino, Montreal Mam, Yaye Slant, and Moldavia. The Vacuum Oil Company's tanker Vacuoline is due at Auckland from San Francisco about Slay 14. The vessel has a bulk oil cargo for discharge at Auckland, Hobart, and Sydney.

Cabled advice has been received by the Federal Company reporting that the Cumberland, which left London on April 7, expects to reach Opua in ballast on Sunday. She is due at Wellington on June 5, and will sail finally on Juno 7 for London and west coast ports.

The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that the motor ship Coptic, which sailed from London in ballast on May 6, is due at Oamaru on June 8. She will load at Wellington from June 17 to 19, and will then go to Glsborne and Auckland. The Coptic Is to clear the latter port finally on June 28 for London, via Cape Horn. •

STEAMER TEES SAILS. The steamer Tees, which was held up at Dunedin for nearly six days owing to the shipping dispute, sailed at noon yesterday for Timaru, Lytteiton and Wellington to complete loading for Napier, Waikokopu and Gisborne. The crew signed articles yesterday morning. BLUFF TUG AND DREDGE. Advice received by the harbourmaster states that the Bluff tug Awarua and the dredge Murihiku will leave Bluff on Sunday morning and arrive at Port Chalmers on Sunday evening. The tug and dredge will undergo annual survey and overhaul at this port. CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHAMPTON. The Cambridge, which left Wellington on March 29 for Southampton and London, arrived at Southampton last Monday morning. PORT FAIRY AT AUCKLAND. The C. and D. .Line motor ship Port Fairy, which left London on April 4 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington and New Plymouth, arrived at Auckland yesterday. GERMAN STEAMERS TO BE RECONSTRUCTED. Arnold Bernstein and Co., of Hamburg, have decided to reconstruct two of their cargo steamers, making provision in each for the carriage of 180 passengers and 450 motor cars. The accommodation will include dining saloon, smoking room and ladies' lounge. The ships In question are the Ilsenstein and Gerolsteln, of 6518 and 6845 tons gross respectively, both built in 1904. REMUERA FROM LONDON. A wireless message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the captain of the Remuera, en route from London, states that the vessel Is now expected to arrive at Wellington on Monday morning. The Remuera is due at Port Chalmers on May 18 to discharge part, cargo. FAST NORWEGIAN MOTOR SHIP. Satisfactory trials have been carried out by the passenger and cargo motor ship Brenas, which has been built at Oslo by Akers Mek, Verksted to the account of Messrs Fred Olsen and Co., Oslo. She has a length of 355 feet 7 inches, breadth of 48 feet 6 inches, and depth of 31 feet, while her deadweight carrying capacity Is 3200 tons and her cubic capacity 220,000 cubic feet. She Is driven at a speed of 18J knots by twin-screw sets of Diesel engines of a type not previously constructed in Norway. These are six-cylinder two-stroke single-acting compressorless Akers-B. and W. motors, with cylinders of 500 mm. diameter arid 900 mm. stroke, developing 3000 l.h.p. each.

PORT HUNTER FROM LIVERPOOL. An arrival yesterday was the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Hunter, from Liverpool, via Colon, Panama, and northern ports. She was berthed at the George street wharf, Port Chalmers, where the Dunedln portion of her Home cargo is being discharged. The vessel left Liverpool on March 25, and arrived at Auckland on May 1.

Captain R. S. Durham Is in command of the Port Hunter, and his officers are:—Chief, Mr G. T. C. Harris; second, Mr C. R. Townshend; third, Mr P. A. Munday; fourth, Mr P. G. M. Lee; chief engineer, Mr J. G. Hooker; second, Mr T. B. Young; third, Mr J. L. Barnard; fourth, Mr R. H. Brown; fifth, Mr T. Banker; sixth, Mr J. A. Wilkinson;, seventh, Mr H. Proudfoot; chief refrigerating engineer; Mr E. M. Riley; second, Mr R. A. Goodhew; wireless operator, Mr W. A. Bassom; chief steward, Mr F. Clarke. The Port Hunter will sail to-day for Timaru to complete discharge and commence Homeward loading. She will complete loading at Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland, and is scheduled to sail finally from the last-named port on June 1 for London, via Panama.
