Dt Ernst Fritz Schraid, the Austrian authority on Haydn, has discovered several manuscripts of unknown works by Haydn described as highly remarkable. They include a string quartet in E major from his early period, and three pianoforte sonatas in C. A, and D major, from his later years. The works will be published soon.
