INQUIRY IN AUSTRALIA POWERS OF COMMISSION. CANBERRA, April 28.Two Bills were introduced into the House of Representatives by the Attor-ney-general to enable the Royal Commission which is investigating the petrol industry to obtain any information it considers relevant to its inquiry. i PRICES FURTHER REDUCED. SYDNEY, April 28. The major oil distributing _ companies have made a further reduction in the price of petrol in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, The prices now will be Is 9d for first grade and Is 7d for second grade. These prices are the lowest in Australia since the war.
